升职为Principal Consultant |

今天老板email发出了Promotion Announcement，我从Senior Consultant升职为Principal Consultant，这个职位的中文翻译为“首席咨询顾问”。以前常常以为首席顾问只有一个，其实是种误解，这只是一个职位而已。虽然我早就认为自己不比其他的Principal Consultant差，也许还需要在入职时增加一些谈判技巧吧。无论如何，升职是对个人的一种肯定。
高级顾问（Senior Consultant）和首席顾问（Principal Consultant）之间差了一个level，我看了一下公司内部关于Work Stream的说明，两者的描述简要如下，也给大家参考吧：
Senior ConsultantAt this level the employee demonstrates in-depth practical and theoretical knowledge to define project outcomes, organise their own work and the work of others. Requires a working knowledge of a variety of technical processes as well as the ability to evaluate and modify approaches to meet requirements.
Principal ConsultantAt this level the employee provides expert knowledge technical disciplines, demonstrates credibility with clients and peers concerning interactions and application to customer issues inside and outside of SAS. Develops methods, plans or tools to improve solution quality and minimise high-risk components of the work. |
